We developed this unique product when the Scrap Metal Dealers Act was introduced in 2012, which caused huge changes in the way dealers had to run their businesses. From this point on, they were unable to pay cash for any metals they purchased.

We identified an opportunity within the marketplace to provide a solution which made it easy for dealers to meet the requirements of the law.

We started working in partnership with Mason Metals, a leading scrap metal dealer based in Dudley, to design and develop a unique software product to give them a comprehensive audit trail for EVERY transaction.

This included proof of identification, details of metals purchased and all required information regarding payment methods. By subscribing monthly for the MetalTrack product, scrap metal dealers could streamline their business, cut down on unnecessary paperwork and ensure that they are always complying with the law.

Our solution is very intuitive and user-friendly and provides full access to reporting, payment options and controls, administration, sales, and management. We also provide ongoing support from our dedicated in-house team of experts.

Used by dealers across the UK, our software has dealt with over £100 million worth of purchases since its launch.
