Finditin

Formed in 2007 alongside Sandwell Metropolitan Council, we developed ‘FinditinSandwell’, aimed at bringing opportunities from regeneration projects and other B2B opportunities to local companies, and driving investment back into the region.

During this time, we worked closely with major development contractors, manufacturers and public sector departments with ‘meet the buyer’ events, which are focussed on networking and introductions to local suppliers. We then promote their success to the media and local authorities, including LEPs and councils.

Winning the LCG (Local Government Chronicle) award for procurement in 2011 opened the door to other areas wishing to replicate the success. Sandwell joined forces with their Black Country neighbours, followed by Birmingham City Council, Worcestershire County Council and Cheshire and Warrington all wanting to join the Finditin network.

Over the years, our events have covered a wide range of topics, including the development of i54 with Jaguar Land Rover, and other large projects such as the Birmingham Library, the new HSBC Headquarters in Birmingham and the ‘Super Hospital’ in Smethwick. Other Birmingham-based infrastructure projects have also been featured at our events, including HS2, Paradise Circus and Grand Central.

In 2018, Finditin continues to grow, with over 80,000 registered members in the local business community, regular events and publishing £BILLIONS of local opportunities per month! For further information please visit www.finditin.co.uk
